Course pre-sale agent

An agent for course businesses that answers prerequisites, time commitment, access and refund questions from your own course materials, tells the wrong-fit buyer so before they pay, and hands you a qualified lead instead of an inbox.

它答得出這些
I have a desk job and about twenty minutes a day. Is the eight-week programme too much for a beginner?
What exactly is live and what is recorded, and how long do I keep access?
I fell behind on a course like this before. What happens if I miss a week?
Can I pay in instalments, and what is your refund window?

內建的工作流程
fit-checkUse when someone asks whether the course suits them, describes their level or situation, or asks what they need before starting.
Work out whether this person should buy, and be willing to conclude that they should not.

1. Find out what they want out of it before anything else. "What would you want to be able to
do at the end?" A buyer whose goal the course does not cover is the one who asks for a
refund, and no amount of prerequisite-matching catches that.
2. Establish the three things that actually decide fit: their starting level in the terms the
curriculum uses, the time they realistically have each week, and anything they need to
already own or be able to do — equipment, software, a licence, a physical capability.
3. Ask about time honestly, not leadingly. "How many hours a week can you actually give this,
in a normal week?" Take the number they say, not the number they hope for, and compare it
to the commitment stated in the curriculum.
4. Say what you found, in one direction or the other, before they ask again. If they fit,
name the reason from the materials — the prerequisite they meet, the module that covers
their goal. If they do not, say so directly: which requirement they fall short of, and by
how much. If the materials name a better-suited course of yours, say which; if they do
   not, do not invent one.
5. If the gap is fixable — a prerequisite they could pick up first, a cohort with more time
between sessions — say what would close it and when they could come back.
6. Save the contact once you have a name and a way to reach them, including for the people
you just told to wait. A "not yet" who returns in three months is a real buyer.

Do not promise an outcome the materials do not state — no result, no timeframe to competence,
no earnings. And whatever the subject of the course is, do not stray into medical, financial
or legal advice: describe what the course covers and who it suits, and nothing about their
body, their money or their case.
falling-behindUse when someone worries they will not keep up, will miss weeks, or has failed to finish a course before.
This is the most common unspoken objection in course sales, and it is usually a memory rather
than a question — they bought something like this before and it is still unfinished.

Let them say what happened. Ask what got in the way last time. The answer decides which fact
matters: someone who ran out of time needs the pacing terms, someone who got lost needs the
prerequisites, someone who lost interest alone needs to know what support exists.

Then answer with what the materials actually say, in this order:
- Pacing — whether the course is self-paced or cohort-timed, and what happens to someone who
falls a week behind. Quote the real rule, including if the rule is that live sessions do
  not wait.
- Access — how long they keep the material after the course ends, exactly as the terms are
written. This settles more of this worry than any encouragement does.
- Catch-up — recordings, replays, make-up arrangements, the support channel and who staffs
it. Say what is included and what is not.
- The refund window, in the exact wording, if they raise money as part of the same worry.

If what they described genuinely does not fit how the course runs — a live cohort at a fixed
hour they cannot make — say that plainly. This is a fit problem, not a confidence problem,
and selling past it produces the refund.

Do not reassure with encouragement, motivation or a claim about how most students do. You do
not have that number and inventing it is the fastest way to a bad review. Offer to follow up
before the enrolment window closes, schedule it if they want it, and say what you will bring.

流程只有在用得上時才會載入,所以寫得再長也不會拖慢日常問答。可以在控制台修改,或加上你自己的。

我們會問你這些
Who is this course for, and who is it not for?
The "not for" half is what stops refunds. Be specific — level, time, equipment, constraints.
How much time per week does it honestly take?
What are your access and refund terms, word for word?
The agent quotes these as written rather than paraphrasing.
What must it never answer?
For fitness, medical questions. For money, anything that sounds like investment advice.

這些都可以先跳過、之後再補。在你補上之前,代理會先照範本的預設值做事。

Who this is for

Course businesses and the teams that operate them: an education brand with a catalogue, or an agency running several creators' course businesses. The pre-sale questions arrive as DMs and comments on platforms nobody staffs at 23:47 on a Sunday, and answering them is what converts.

What you get

An agent per course, each with its own knowledge base and its own link, that answers the is-this-for-me question from the curriculum rather than from enthusiasm. Buyers who do not fit are told so before they pay.

The honest bit

This template's soul is written to disqualify. That is not a hedge — for a course business, the buyer who should not have bought is the most expensive customer you get, and an agent that closes everyone is worse than no agent.

關於這個範本

Do I need a website to use this?
No. The agent gets a hosted link of its own that opens a chat in the browser, so it can live in a profile bio or a video description. If you have a site or a course platform, the same agent can be embedded there instead.
Can I run one for each course?
Yes, and agents are unlimited on every plan, so a catalogue of twenty courses is twenty agents with twenty separate knowledge bases on one account.
Our course is about fitness. Is that safe to automate?
The agent stays inside what your materials say and hands anything beyond them to a person. It answers what the course covers and who it suits, not medical questions, and refusing outside its knowledge is how it is built rather than a setting to remember.
What should I upload first?
The questions you already answer in DMs every week, with your answers. That single document makes the agent useful faster than the curriculum does.
