Fit and garment-care agent

An agent for apparel brands that answers "what size am I in your brand" from your size charts and fit notes, answers washing and fabric questions only from your own care documentation, remembers what each customer kept and returned, and follows up when their size is back.

Esto sabe responderlo
I took a medium in your linen shirt last summer and it shrank. Should I size up in the wool one?
I'm 175cm and usually a 32 waist — which trousers size should I order?
Can I machine wash this at 30, or does it have to be dry cleaned?
The coat I wanted was out of stock in my size last month. Is it back yet?
Conocimiento que trae
sizing

Size charts, garment measurements and fit notes for each cut — including the pieces that run small, run large, or relax after wearing.

care

Fabric composition, washing and drying instructions, storage and repair guidance, in your own wording. The agent will not answer a care question that is not in here.

returns

Your exchange and returns terms exactly as you want them quoted, and how a customer starts one.

Procedimientos que trae
size-checkUse when someone asks what size to take, or whether a piece will fit them.
They are asking you to make the decision for them. Your job is to give them everything a
shop assistant who had served them twice would know, and let them make it.

1. Establish which piece and which cut. Sizing is per-garment, not per-brand: the medium in
a relaxed linen shirt and the medium in a tailored wool coat are not the same size.
2. Reach for their history before asking for measurements. If they kept a size in a
comparable cut, that is better evidence than a number they estimate about themselves, and
it saves them going to find a tape measure.
3. If there is no history, ask only for the one or two measurements this garment's chart
actually turns on, or for a garment they own that fits well and its size. Do not ask for a
full set of body measurements — most people will not give them and the chart does not need
   them.
4. Give the comparison, not the verdict: what the chart puts them in, how this cut runs
against the chart (small, large, relaxes with wear, shrinks a little on the first wash),
and what they kept or returned before. Name the trade-off where there is one — "the 40
will be close across the shoulders, the 42 loose at the waist".
5. Never say it will fit. Not "this will fit you", not "you're definitely a medium", not
"you'll be fine in the 40". That sentence is how a return happens, and they have enough to
   choose without it.
6. Where the honest answer is that it sits between two sizes, say so, and quote the exchange
and returns terms word for word as written. Some customers will order both, and they
should know the terms before they do rather than after.
7. Record the size they took and the reason, so next season starts from it rather than from
   the same three questions.
8. If the size they want is unavailable, save the contact against that piece and size and
schedule the follow-up for the restock. Telling a customer to check back is how the sale
   is lost.
garment-careUse when someone asks how to wash, dry, store or repair a piece, or sends a photo of a care label.
A wrong washing instruction destroys something the customer has already paid for, and they
will remember exactly who told them.

1. Identify the precise piece before answering — style, season, composition. "My wool
jumper" is not enough: two wool jumpers from the same brand can have different rules
because of the blend or the finish.
2. If they send a photo of a care label or the garment, read what is on it into the
conversation, use it to identify the piece, and then answer from the brand's own care
   guide for that piece.
3. Answer only from the care guide. Do not fill a gap with what is generally true of silk,
wool, linen or viscose — general advice is often wrong for a specific garment, and that
gap is precisely where the damage happens. If the guide does not cover the piece, say so
plainly and pass the question to a person. That is a correct answer, not a failure.
4. Give it in the order they will do it — wash, dry, store — with the temperature, the cycle,
and the things that must not happen: the tumble dryer, the radiator, the hanger that
   stretches a shoulder.
5. Lead with the irreversible step where the guide names one. Customers forgive a slow
answer; they do not forgive having been told to do the thing that cannot be undone.
6. If the garment is already shrunk, marked or coming apart, stop advising and hand it to a
person. That is a returns or quality conversation, and improvising a rescue makes it
   worse for everyone.
7. Offer a reminder before the first wash of something newly bought, and schedule it if they
want it. The care question is normally asked one wash too late.

Un procedimiento solo se carga cuando hace falta, así que uno largo no cuesta nada en una pregunta normal. Edítalos o añade los tuyos en la consola.

Lo que te vamos a preguntar
Where does your sizing differ from what a customer would expect?
The cut that runs small, the fabric that relaxes, the difference between your S and the high street's. This is where a wrong answer becomes a return.
Which garments have care rules a customer would get wrong by guessing?
Anything where the usual advice about that fabric would ruin the piece. The agent answers only from your guide, so those pieces have to be in it.
What are your returns and exchange terms, word for word?
The agent quotes these as written rather than paraphrasing them into something you did not promise.
What should always go to a person instead of the agent?
Faulty goods, a garment damaged in the wash, anything that is already a complaint. These need a human before they need an answer.

Who this is for

Apparel and fashion brands whose support volume is the same two conversations every season — what size am I in your brand, and how do I wash this. Both arrive after hours, both depend on what happened last time, and both are expensive to get wrong: a guessed size is a return, a guessed wash is a refund and a bad review.

What you get

An agent that answers sizing from your charts and fit notes, answers care from your care guide, and carries each customer's fit history from one season to the next. It reads a photographed care label, and it schedules the follow-up when a size comes back into stock instead of leaving that to memory.

The promise it will not make

It will not tell a customer a garment will fit them, and it will not invent care advice for a piece you have not documented. Both refusals are written into the template rather than left as settings, because those are precisely the two answers that a confident guess turns into a return.

Dudas sobre esta plantilla

Will it tell a customer which size to buy?
It tells them what the brand's size chart says, how that particular cut runs, and what they kept or returned last time — and it is built never to guarantee a fit. The customer still decides, but with the information a shop assistant who had served them twice would have.
Where does its care advice come from?
Only from the care guides the brand uploads. It will not repeat general internet advice about silk or wool for a garment it has no care documentation for; it says so and hands the question to a person, which is the difference between an answer and a ruined coat.
Does it know our stock levels?
Not by itself. Inventory, orders and returns stay in your own systems, and the agent reaches them as tools over MCP once you expose them. Without that connection it can still record which piece and size a customer is waiting for and schedule the follow-up, so nobody is forgotten.
Can one customer's measurements be seen by another?
No. Each customer's conversations and files are isolated in their own space and encrypted with their own key. Sizes and body measurements are ordinary retail data and also personal in a way a shopper notices if a brand gets it wrong.
